The night’s second quarter-final between the Netherlands and Costa Rica went all the way to a penalty shootout. It was a tense affair for the fans.
Costa Rica goalkeeper Keylor Navas was named as the man of the match, having made countless saves during the 120-minute match, including this one with his eyes shut!
However, it was Newcastle United’s Dutch goalkeeper Tim Krul that won the game, coming off the bench to save two penalties in the shootout, which the Netherlands won 4-3.
