Exclusive: Arsenal to Sign £52m Trio Ahead Of July 10th Kit Launch

Emirates Stadium side set to bring in three top signings next week.

Arsenal are closing in on a trio of deals that the north London side will look to have in place ahead of their planned Puma kit launch on Thursday 10th of July.

CaughtOffside understands that the sportswear company will assist in the financing of such deals as they look to offer the launch a high-profile edge with Arsene Wenger in advanced talks to bring in three players who have been involved in World Cup action this summer.

The north London side have agreed to meet Barcelona’s £26m valuation in pursuit of attacker Alexis Sanchez and the Chilean has confirmed his desire to move to the north London side over apparent interest from Liverpool.

The adaptable forward, who can play in a central or wide role, will offer Arsenal some much needed quality in the final third and such a move may lead to Lukas Podolski making a Bundesliga return with the German failing to consistently impress during his two seasons at the Emirates Stadium.

Sanchez has enjoyed a strong World Cup and had his most effective season to date in 2013/14, netting 19 goals in 27 La Liga appearances.

New Barcelona boss Luis Enrique is keen to secure a quick sale as he looks to put funds from Sanchez’s exit towards summer signings of his own, with the Catalan side known to be pursuing Liverpool forward Luis Suarez.

Newcastle United right-back Mathieu Debuchy has confirmed he is due to move to Arsenal and is a player Arsene Wenger will look to fill the void left by departing defender Bacary Sagna.

The 28 year old French international will set the Gunners back £11m and will sign a four year contract which may leave youngster Carl Jenkinson considering his future at his boyhood club though the indications are that the England man will look to fight the former Lille man for the first team berth.

Debuchy will be joined by his national team colleague Morgan Schneiderlin with Arsenal’s £15m bid likely to be accepted by a Southampton side who are struggling to retain their top talents following the exit of Mauricio Pochettino, who moved to take charge of Tottenham earlier this summer.

The 24 year old has been initially been seeking assurances from his south-coast side that funds from player sales would be re-invested in the squad, this at the point when Rickie Lambert and Luke Shaw had moved to Liverpool and Man United respectively, however the subsequent exit of Adam Lallana to Anfield and the likely departure of centre-back Dejan Lovren has led to the former Strasbourg man demanding to leave the club he joined in June 2008.

Southampton are ready to allow Schneiderlin to leave out of respect for his six seasons at the club, during which he helped the St Mary’s side battle from League One to the top half of the Premier League.

Arsene Wenger is keen to complete this summer transfer window activity early this year, not solely due to the Puma kit launch, but also so that he can avoid any last minute activity as well as with a view to bedding in new additions during pre-season action, long before the Premier League season gets underway.

The Arsenal manager is ready to listen to offers for Spanish veteran Mikel Arteta with the former Everton man now into the final year of his contract and with no new deal likely to be offered.

The 32 year old struggled last term and the arrival of Schneiderlin will lead to a reduced involvement and with Mathieu Flamini on hand as an able back-up to the incoming signing Wenger feels he can afford to allow Arteta to leave and a move to back to La Liga is a possibility.

Wenger is also ready to sell Thomas Vermaelen and is open to the possibility of such a sale being to a Premier League rival with Man United said to be interested in the Belgian.

However Arsenal will not sanction a sale until they themselves have brought in an able replacement, with Southampton’s Dejan Lovren having thought to be a target but now seemingly keen on a Liverpool switch.

The former Ajax man has played third fiddle to Wenger’s first choice centre-back pairing of Laurent Koscielny and Per Mertesacker and is now ready to push for an Emirates Stadium exit.
