Yaya Toure wants to leave Manchester City this summer
Yaya Toure has insisted that he wishes to leave Manchester City this summer, despite reports in the Daily Mirror stating that the Premier League champions will refuse to allow him to leave the club.
An Ivory Coast team-mate of Toure’s, says the midfielder has had enough of City’s hierarchy.
“He has accumulated too many grudges against [Manchester City’s] leaders and he will not stay with them,” said the unnamed player.
“He will do everything to ensure his departure this summer.”
Toure has publicly criticised City in recent weeks, firstly alleging that the Citizens failed to acknowledge his birthday and then claiming they denied him an opportunity to spend time with his dying brother.
