Arsenal Fuming At Barcelona Over Delayed Confirmation Of £30m Alexis Sanchez Deal

Gunners frustrated by slow Barca.Arsenal are reportedly fuming at Barcelona over the delay in an official announcement on the future of Alexis Sanchez, who is all set to complete a £30m move to the Emirates Stadium, according to the Daily Express.

The Gunners have agreed a contract and personal terms with the Chile international, whilst also coming to an agreement with the Catalan giants over a price for the player, though there has still been a delay in officially finalising the transfer.

It is thought that the La Liga club’s signing of Luis Suarez from Liverpool is holding up the deal, with Barca keen to be able to wrap up a deal for the Uruguayan striker before allowing a key player to leave.

Sanchez has been a regular starter for Barcelona in his three seasons with the club, but looks likely to make way this summer as the club look to majorly rebuild after a highly disappointing trophyless campaign in 2013/14.

Still, the World Cup star has still not been allowed to fly to England to complete his move to Arsenal as negotiations for Suarez continue to be complicated and long drawn-out.

Arsenal won’t want to risk losing out on the player now, having seen the proposed signings of the likes of Gonzalo Higuain fall through last summer.
