Barcelona will finally complete their move for Liverpool striker Luis Suarez this weekend, if they successfully meet the Anfield-club’s £75m asking price.
The Daily Mirror have revealed that the Reds are refusing to budge on their lofty demands for their prize asset, who top scored with 31 goals in last season’s Premier League.
Spanish officials are waiting in South America, where they have been checking on the back injury sustained by Neymar at the World Cup. They are ready to fly to Uruguay and complete the deal.

Iago Aspas is on his way to Spain to complete a move to Sevilla, according to reports in the Daily Star.

Liverpool have turned to Swansea defender Ben Davies as their search for a new left-back continues.
The Guardian believes that the Reds could rival Tottenham with a £10m bid for the 21-year-old Welshman, who has made ten international appearances.
Davies became a regular starter for Swansea during the 2012-13 season, following a long term injury to first choice left back Neil Taylor, and has now made 71 Premier League appearances.
Liverpool to battle it out for Benfica duo, and sign Markovic
Liverpool will battle it out with Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal over Benfica winger Joao Filipe – dubbed ‘the next Cristiano Ronaldo’ – according to the Daily Express.
The Reds are targeting both 15-year-old Filipe, as well as another of the club’s youngsters, goalkeeper Joao Virginia, who is also 15.
Meanwhile, the Liverpool Echo are reporting that Lazar Markovic will have a medical on Merseyside today, before completing his £20m move.
Reds prepare £20m bid for French winger
The Metro have claimed that Liverpool are readying a £20m bid for Real Sociedad’s French winger Antoine Griezmann.
Griezmann, 23, is one of the most impressive young talents in Europe, and has been tracked by Real Madrid, Barcelona and Arsenal – who have had two bids rejected for the player in the last 12 months.
However, the player has recently turned down a new contract at the Spanish club, opening the door to Liverpool, who could launch a surprise bid.
