Even if Bertrand does arrive at Anfield, Liverpool are likely to still try and secure Alberto Moreno from Sevilla.

According to the Mirror, Liverpool could use flop Spaniard Iago Aspas, who failed to score a Premier League goal last term, as a makeweight in the deal to sign the talented international 21-year-old defender.

Ajax set for windfall for Suarez sale is complete…

When Liverpool sell Luis Suarez to Barcelona, his former club Ajax will receive a percentage of the £75m transfer fee.

Suarez scored 111 goals in 159 games for the Dutch side, and thanks to the 6.5% sell on clause inserted in his contract when he was sold to Liverpool, Ajax should collect around £4.3m.

After impressing on loan last term with Sunderland, the Black Cats are readying an £8m offer for the Italian wing forward.

Liverpool will likely be tempted by the offer, with the likes of Divock Origi and Lazar Markovic arriving at Anfield imminently.
