Markovic, Origi and Bony all set to arrive at Anfield…

The Daily Star has today revealed the eight man shortlist it expects Liverpool to sign this summer, for a combined fee of around £125m.
The Reds have already secured Rickie Lambert, Adam Lallana and Emre Can for £39m – and once they sell Luis Suarez to Barcelona for an expected £75m, the report claims Liverpool will sign these five players for a further £86m…
5) Divock Origi – £11m
The young Belgian performed strongly at the World Cup, keeping the far more recognised Romelu Lukaku out of the starting XI. He’s already been to Anfield for a medical, and will likely complete a move to Liverpool from Lille in the coming days.
4) Lazar Markovic – £20m
The prodigiously talented Serbian currently plays for Benfica in Portugal, but like Origi, is expected to finalise a move to Liverpool in the coming days. He can play anywhere in attacking midfield, and has been rated by former Chelsea boss Avram Grant as one of the most talented players of his generation.
3) Wilfried Bony – £20m
The Ivorian powerhouse is now the man most heavily linked with a move to Liverpool to replace the outgoing Suarez. He scored 25 goals in all competitions last season, and prides himself on his ability to hold the ball up and finish off either foot. He doesn’t possess anywhere near the raw talent the departing Uruguayan does though.
2) Ben Davies – £10m
As well as Bony, Liverpool want to raid Swansea for their talented young left-back Ben Davies. The 21-year-old was ever present for the Welsh side last term, and could arrive at Anfield to fix the problem position.
1) Dejan Lovren – £25m
The Saints want £25m for the Croatian, who has already stated his ‘head is already at Liverpool’. After such a statement, it seems highly unlikely that the 24-year-old centre-back won’t eventually join the Reds before the start of next season.
