The biggest transfer stories involving Spurs.

Tottenham Hotspur to lose out on Mathieu Valbeuna to Dinamo Moscow

There is bad news for interested clubs Arsenal, West Ham United and Spurs in the pursuit of Olympique Marseille midielder Valbuena.

According to talkSPORT the France international could be heading to Russia after Dinamo agree terms with Marseille for the 29-year-old.

There is still hope for other interested clubs though, as Valbuena is unsure whether he wants to head to Moscow or not yet.

Gylfi Sigurdsson on his way to Crystal Palace in £8m move

Reports from the Daily Star says that Palace have had an £8m bid for 24-year-old Sigurdsson accepted by Tottenham.

The Iceland international has been something of a bit-part player since arriving at White Hart Lane in 2012 and would be open to a move away.

Spurs would be keen to add some more funds to the kitty for new manager Mauricio Pochettino as well.

£4m Michael Dawson deal on the rocks says Steve Bruce

Hull City boss Bruce has admitted that the deal to bring captain Dawson to the KC Stadium remains in the balance, according to the Mirror.

The 30-year-old wants compensation from Spurs as he would be due a testimonial in January having been at the club for 10 years if he stays.

If not Dawson would instead want a four-year contract from Hull, something the Yorkshire club are not willing to agree to.

Inter Milan interested in flop striker Roberto Soldado – but at a reduced fee

Despite having been something of a disappointment upon signing for the North Londoners for £26m in 2013, Inter now want Soldado.

Reports from talkSPORT says that the Serie A side are looking to sign the former Valencia man, but for just £15m.

Whether or not Daniel Levy would be happy to sanction an £11m loss in just 12 months is another matter though.

Spurs could have plug pulled on £12m deal for Ben Davies

It looks as if Pochettino is going to miss out on Swansea City’s Davies this summer after the Welsh club pull out of the deal, according to the Daily Mail.

Tottenham are keen to sign a new left-back with both Danny Rose and Kyle Naughton disappointing in the position last season.

However, despite things initially going smoothly in the chase for 21-year-old Davies, Swans chairman Huw Jenkins has decided to pull the plug at the 11th hour.
