The 2014 World Cup in Brazil came to its conclusion on Sunday as Germany beat Argentina in the final thanks to an extra-time strike from Mario Gotze.

With 171 goals in total at the tournament many are calling it the best World Cup ever, with many twists and turns along the way, including Spain’s early elimination, the form of Costa Rica and Brazil’s 7-1 semi-final defeat.
