QPR have already accepted Liverpool’s £8.5m bid for French international Remy and Southampton have done likewise with a £16m offer for centre-back Lovren.
27 year old forward Remy is close to agreeing personal terms with the Merseyside outfit and after his successful loan spell at Newcastle United Brendan Rodgers will hope the speedy striker, along with Daniel Sturridge and fellow new signing Rickie Lambert, help to fill the void left by Luis Suarez’s departure to Barcelona.
Lovren is set to sign a four year contract and will provide Martin Skrtel with a very able central defensive partner.
Liverpool are also set to sign Belgian youngster Divock Origi for a fee of €13m (£10.2m) according to the Daily Mirror.
The teenager is also set to fly out to the States according to the Sunday Times though one wonders if the forward may not be loaned out for the coming campaign to garner some much needed experience.
The Lille attacker impressed in Ligue 1 action last term and made an impact at the World Cup finals, netting Belgium’s winner against Russia in the group stage.
Liverpool have already secured deals to sign the aforementioned Lambert, Adam Lallana, Emre Can and Lazar Markovic.
