Premier League trio eye Tottenham misfit

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Lewis Holtby is a target for Queens Park Rangers, Leicester City and Crystal Palace on loan this summer, according to the Daily Star.

The German international has struggled to make an impact at White Hart Lane since his move from Schalke, and also spent time on loan last season with Fulham.

Holtby will no doubt be keen to play regular first-team football, and will seemingly have plenty of offers if he does look to leave Spurs in this transfer window.

Manchester United to move for Spurs target

Tottenham could miss out on the signing of highly-rated PSV winger Memphis Depay this summer, with Manchester United joining the race for his signature, according to the Metro.

The 20-year-old Dutch international has attracted plenty of interest in the transfer market this summer after some impressive performances for his country at the World Cup finals in Brazil.

With Louis van Gaal now taking over at Old Trafford, it seems possible that Depay will be keen to link up with his former national team coach.

Aston Villa rule out Vlaar sale

Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert has ruled out selling in-form Dutch defender and Tottenham target Ron Vlaar, according to the Sun.

The 29-year-old was rock-solid for Villa last season after joining the Midlands club from Feyenoord, and could be set to leave after just one season for the club after impressing the likes of Spurs with his performances.

Tottenham are in the market for new defenders after some poor shows from their current back four in the big games last season.

Tottenham defender could make Roma switch

Tottenham centre-back Vlad Chiriches could be on his way to Serie A side Roma just one season after moving to north London, according to the Daily Mirror.

The Italian giants are looking to strengthen in defence this summer, and could land Chiriches for just £7m, with Spurs happy to allow him to leave White Hart Lane.

The 24-year-old Romanian international failed to establish himself as a regular for Tottenham last season, and could make way as the club eye new signings in that area.

Spurs target linked with Atletico Madrid move

Atletico Madrid have joined Tottenham and a host of other top clubs in the pursuit of Real Sociedad winger Antoine Griezmann, according to Fichajes.net.

The Spanish champions are keen to strengthen in attack after losing a number of key players this summer, and could be willing to activate the Frenchman’s £24m buy-out clause.

Spurs are also keen on adding Griezmann to their ranks, but may struggle to persuade him to join now, with other big clubs such as Paris Saint-Germain and AS Monaco also tracking him this summer.
