Five Transfer Deals that Will be Completed Within the Next 48 Hours Including Imminent Arsenal & Liverpool Purchases

Summer moves that almost ‘done deals’, including Emirates Stadium and Anfield captures.

Dejan Lovren (Southampton to Liverpool) £20m

Croatian is set to be the latest in a very long line of players leaving St Mary’s and will join two of his former team-mates, Adam Lallana & Rickie Lambert, at Anfield.

Southampton paid Lyon £8.5m for the 24 year old a year ago but will pocket more than twice that fee so boss Ronald Koeman will at least have least have ample funds to invest in an able replacement for the tough tackling centre-back.

Calum Chambers (Southampton to Arsenal) £16m

And another Saints star set to leave the south-coast side with Arsenal close to agreeing a deal to sign the teenage right-back for a fairly hefty fee, though far less than Man United paid for Luke Shaw.

Chambers will look to challenge Mathieu Debuchy for the Gunners right-back role, leaving Carl Jenkinson out in the cold, and will become the third Southampton man to move to the Emirates Stadium in recent seasons as he follows in the footsteps of Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

David Ospina (Nice to Arsenal) £3m

25 year old Colombian will battle Wojciech Szczesny for the starting spot between the sticks as Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger looks to replace Lukasz Fabianski.

The experienced keeper had an excellent World Cup and after six years at Nice is set for a ‘step-up’ to life in the upper echelons of the Premier League.

Divock Origi (Lille to Liverpool) £10m

Teenage Belgian will be brought in by Brendan Rodgers, though could be loaned back to Lille for the coming campaign, as Liverpool continue to adopt a youthful transfer policy.

Origi had a standout campaign in Ligue 1 last term and forced his way into Marc Wilmots Belgian national team set-up, scoring in the World Cup and proving himself to be a very hot prospect.

Loic Remy (QPR to Liverpool) £8.5m

Yet another Liverpool capture and a deal that is very near completion, with the French forward having already completed a medical with the Merseyside outfit.

The QPR forward enjoyed a successful loan spell at Newcastle United last term, scoring 14 goals in 24 starts, and will look to help fill the void left by the departure of Luis Suarez to Barcelona.
