10) Mattia Destro (Roma)

Impressive young Roma striker Mattia Destro attracted plenty of interest following a fine run of form for his club last season, and is now thought to be a target for Tottenham Hotspur. The 23-year-old scored 13 goals in just 20 appearances for Rudi Garcia’s side, and looks a potentially lethal option upfront for Spurs as they look to improve their options in that position.

9) Mattia De Sciglio (AC Milan)

A highly talented 21-year-old with plenty of potential, AC Milan full-back Mattia De Sciglio has attracted interest from the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United in recent times with his fine performances in Serie A. The youngster already has 12 caps for the Italian national team and looks like he would be a top addition for any side.

8) Lorenzo Insigne (Napoli)

Napoli winger Lorenzo Insigne is another player being linked with a move to the Premier League this summer, with eight goals and seven assists for Rafael Benitez’s side last season seeing him become a target for the likes of Arsenal. The 23-year-old attacker is regarded as one of the most promising up-and-coming talents in the Italian game, and would certainly be an exciting addition to English football.

7) Fredy Guarin (Inter Milan)

A top class midfielder, Fredy Guarin has been a key player for Inter Milan in recent times, and now looks set to make the step up to a bigger club. The Colombian international could remain in Serie A after becoming a target for Juventus, though he is also known to be a top target for Manchester United as they eye new additions in midfield this summer. A powerful player with an eye for goal, the 27-year-old looks like he would fit in well to the demands of the Premier League.

6) Kevin Strootman (Roma)

A classy Dutch playmaker, Kevin Strootman only joined AS Roma from PSV last summer. At the time, the midfielder was also a target for Manchester United, though a move failed to materialise. The Red Devils are now being linked with him again as he is a favourite of the club’s new manager Louis van Gaal. His current injury status could complicate a move, but the 24-year-old remains one of the most sought-after talents currently playing in the Italian top flight.

5) Mehdi Benatia (Roma)

Widely regarded as one of the best defenders in Europe at the moment, Moroccan centre-back Mehdi Benatia has been a superb signing for Roma. Having only signed from Udinese last summer, the commanding stopper is now attracting big interest from the likes of Manchester City and Barcelona. Roma will be determined not to sell the player, but they could face a battle to keep him at the Stadio Olimpico after his highly impressive performances.

4) Juan Cuadrado (Fiorentina)

Fast becoming one of the most impressive wingers in Europe, Juan Cuadrado was in dazzling form for Fiorentina last season before enhancing his reputation even further with his performances for Colombia at the World Cup. A skillful and pacey attacker, Cuadrado has been linked with a whole host of top clubs this summer, including Arsenal, Manchester United and Barcelona. It seems unlikely that the 26-year-old will remain in Italy, with his performances in Serie A making him one of the most sought-after talents in the game.

3) Paul Pogba (Juventus)

Perhaps the best young player in the world, Paul Pogba has enjoyed a meteoric rise since leaving Manchester United for Juventus in 2012. The French starlet has taken full advantage of being handed regular first-team football at Juve, and is now being linked with a return to England with Chelsea, while his old club United are also keeping an eye on him. He would no doubt be expensive now, but the 21-year-old looks well worth it with the array of skills and qualities in his locker.

2) Mario Balotelli (AC Milan)

A controversial player, but potentially a world class one on his day, Mario Balotelli is being linked with a return to the Premier League after a year and a half with AC Milan. Formerly of Manchester City, the Italian international is now reportedly wanted by Arsenal and Liverpool, with Milan possibly open to selling him due to his troublesome presence in the dressing room.

1) Arturo Vidal (Juventus)

One of the best midfielders in the world, it is no surprise to see Juventus star Arturo Vidal attracting so much interest again this summer. The Chile international was also in the headlines last year, and the likes of Manchester United have revived their interest this time round as well, with the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool also mentioned as contenders to sign him in a big-money move. It would certainly be great to see the 27-year-old in a more competitive league after making a name for himself in Italy.
