With the £12m signing of Calum Chambers now having gone through, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has now made six significant summer signings at the Emirates Stadium.

The arrival of Chambers pushes Carl Jenkinson down to being third choice right back – and the 22 year-old could be moved on in the near future, along with four others.

Santi Cazorla

The arrival of winger Alexis Sanchez from Barcelona seems to have put Santi Cazorla’s Arsenal position under threat, with the Spaniard unlikely to be first choice in his favoured left wing position.

A return to La Liga has been mooted for the experienced midfielder, with Spanish champions Atletico Madrid linked with a swoop.

Carl Jenkinson

The arrival of Calum Chambers has put right back Carl Jenkinson’s Arsenal position under threat, with a number of Premier League clubs believed to be interested in taking the former Charlton Athletic man either on a permanent basis or, more likely, a season-long loan deal.

Joel Campbell

Despite a fine 2014 FIFA World Cup campaign with surprise package Costa Rica, striker Joel Campbell may once again be farmed out on loan before being given his chance by Wenger, with a number of clubs seemingly interested in the player.

Thomas Vermaelen

Despite looking like a move to Arsenal’s Premier League rivals Manchester United was imminent for much of the summer, La Liga giants Barcelona have emerged as alternative suitors for Arsenal captain Thomas Vermaelen, who seems certain to move on.

Nacho Monreal

Spanish left back Nacho Monreal has struggled to dislodge Kieran Gibbs as first choice at the Emirates Stadium and could be set for a summer return to La Liga, with new Champions League qualifies Athletic Bilbao showing an interest in a bargain deal.
