With the summer transfer market now in full swing, the rumours are flying and the big deals are starting to be confirmed on an almost daily basis.

As we enter one of the final free weeks before the start of the 2014/15 season, we’ve taken a look at five transfer deals that we fully expect will be completed this week.

Divock Origi (Lille OSC to Liverpool)

Liverpool have been one of the busiest major clubs in the transfer market this summer, as manager Brendan Rodgers embarks on the double challenge of building a team to cope without Luis Suarez and also preparing the Reds for life back in the Champions League.

The latest Anfield capture seems almost certain to be teenage forward Divock Origi from Lille in Ligue 1, with reports suggesting that a deal to sign the Belgian on a five-year deal has been finalised and should be announced in the near future.

Eliaquim Mangala (FC Porto to Manchester City)

Manchester City have had a relatively quiet transfer window, but that could all change if Manuel Pellegrini and his staff announce the big-money signing of French defender Eliaquim Mangala from FC Porto.

The former Standard Liege player has been linked with a move to the City of Manchester Stadium all summer and, with City having failed to keep a clean sheet in friendlies against Dundee, Hearts, Sporting Kansas City and AC Milan, Manuel Pellegrini may finally want to push it over the line.

Calum Chambers (Southampton to Arsenal)

Arsenal’s fruitful transfer window has continued, with the Gunners sealing the arrival of goalkeeper David Ospina from Nice, and it looks as though Arsene Wenger could follow the Colombian up with the signing of right back Calum Chambers from Southampton.

Reports suggest that a fee of around £16m has been agreed between the two clubs and just the formalities remain to be completed before the teenager arrives at the Emirates Stadium.

Romelu Lukaku (Chelsea to Everton)

Everton seem to have dedicated much of their summer to trying to secure a deal to bring Belgian international striker Romelu Lukaku back to the club from Chelsea on a permanent deal – and the Toffees now appear to be confident that a move to rejoin Roberto Martinez is the favoured option for the player.

Antoine Griezmann (Real Sociedad to Atletico Madrid)

Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone is looking to rebuild his La Liga winning squad at the Vicente Calderon this summer, with many of the club’s stunning squad of last season already having moved on.

Simeone has already secured striker Mario Mandzukic from Bayern Munich, however, and looks set to follow the Croatian up with silky attacking midfielder Antoine Griezmann from Real Sociedad, from under the noses of Tottenham Hotspur.
