8) Hulk (Zenit Saint Petersburg)
Not always the most consistent performer, but there’s no doubting the quality of Zenit Saint Petersburg’s number 7 Hulk. The Brazilian forward is an exciting and versatile player, who normally plays out wide on the right so he can cut in onto his ferociously powerful left foot. Although Hulk has not really lived up to his tremendous potential, particularly when he plays at international level, he fits the bill of a typical number 7 player, and is among the best in the world currently wearing that number.
