10) Samuel Eto’o to West Ham

Linked with a host of clubs since leaving Chelsea on a free transfer, veteran Cameroon striker Samuel Eto’o has most recently been targeted by West Ham United as they eye cover upfront for the injured Andy Carroll. A move for the 34-year-old seems to make sense for the Hammers at this time, with Eto’o still showing he can cut it at this level during his single season at Stamford Bridge, even if he wasn’t offered an extension beyond that.

9) Keylor Navas to Real Madrid

As Real Madrid eye a replacement for the out-of-sorts Iker Casillas, it looks as though they could be closing in on a deal for Levante and Costa Rica star Keylor Navas to come in in goal. The 27-year-old has been in superb form of late and looks a top quality addition to be their new first choice between the sticks, even if he does have big gloves to fill at the Bernabeu. A move is yet to be confirmed, though it is expected that Navas will be unveiled as Madrid’s latest summer signing sometime this week.

8) Nicolas Gaitan to AS Monaco

Benfica winger Nicolas Gaitan appears to have been identified as AS Monaco’s ideal replacement for the departing James Rodriguez. Although the superb Colombian youngster will be a tough act to follow, Gaitan has been a top performer in the Portuguese top flight for a number of years now, and has been linked with other big clubs in the past, including Manchester United and Liverpool. Recent reports in both France and Portugal suggest this deal will go through, and it may not be long before he is unveiled as Monaco’s latest big-money signing.

7) Calum Chambers to Arsenal

A terrific young prospect in English football, Arsenal are expected to announce the signing of Southampton right-back Calum Chambers at any moment now. The 19-year-old is said to have passed a medical and agreed terms on a £16m move to the Emirates Stadium, with Arsene Wenger also quoted as confirming that the deal is set to go through, with the manager commenting that he is excited by the youngster’s potential in a number of different roles in the team.

6) Jay Rodriguez to Liverpool

Yet another Southampton star who could be on his way out, Jay Rodriguez is attracting interest from Liverpool after they pulled the plug on a deal for Queens Park Rangers striker Loic Remy. With the French forward failing a medical in a proposed £8.5m move, Rodriguez could now be a good option for the Reds, and it is thought that they are readying a bid of £15m, which should be enough to prise him away from St Mary’s, and see him join former team-mates Rickie Lambert, Adam Lallana and Dejan Lovren at Anfield.

5) Romelu Lukaku to Everton

With Chelsea bringing back the 36-year-old Didier Drogba to Stamford Bridge this summer, there appears to be little hope for promising young striker Romelu Lukaku as he aims to break into Jose Mourinho’s side. Everton enjoyed the Belgian’s services on loan last season and are now reportedly growing in confidence in their quest to bring him to Goodison Park permanently, for a fee of around £18m. Lukaku enjoyed his time at Everton, and despite late interest from Juventus and Real Madrid, this one could go through imminently.

4) Radamel Falcao to Real Madrid

A surprise deal perhaps, but Real Madrid look to have won the race for unsettled AS Monaco striker Radamel Falcao with a £10m bid to take him on loan for this season. The prolific Colombian international would then join on a permanent deal next summer for around £26m, and should be a superb addition to an already world class selection of attacking players on show at the Bernabeu.

3) Angel Di Maria to Paris Saint-Germain

One player on his way out of Real Madrid, Angel Di Maria looks like becoming a Paris Saint-Germain player this week after increasing rumours that the club have agreed a loan deal for the Argentine to avoid complications with Financial Fair Play. The 26-year-old could then join the club permanently next year, and become the latest exciting addition to this expensively-assembled squad at the Parc des Princes.

2) Mats Hummels to Barcelona

With leaked images of Mats Hummels Barcelona shirts selling in Spain, it could be that a big move for the Borussia Dortmund star to move to the Nou Camp is edging closer. The German World Cup winner is undoubtedly one of the best defenders in the world and would make a great signing for the Catalan giants if they can land him ahead of the likes of Manchester United.

1) Arturo Vidal to Manchester United

Set to hold talks with Juventus today, it is expected that Chilean World cup star Arturo Vidal will ask for a move to Manchester United in this transfer window. The superb 27-year-old has been a key player for Juve in their recent domestic success, and will surely go down as one of the signings of the summer as United look like closing in on a £47m move to bring him to Old Trafford. An excellent solution to their midfield problems, this is a player whose arrival in the Premier League would be very welcome indeed, and it may not be long before it is confirmed.
