10) Klaas-Jan Huntelaar (Schalke)
One of the most prolific strikers in the German top flight in recent times, Schalke star Klaas-Jan Huntelaar has been linked several times with a move to the Premier League, and is now thought to be attracting strong interest from Tottenham Hotspur as they seek improvements upfront this summer. The player himself is also thought to be keen on a move to England, and will reject an offer from Galatasaray in the hope of signing for an English side.
9) Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Borussia Dortmund)
Despite only being with Borussia Dortmund for one season, Gabon international forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang looks likely to be on his way out of the club this summer after struggling to settle in Germany. Having attracted attention at his previous club Saint-Etienne, Aubameyang is back on the radar of Premier League sides again this summer with rumoured interest from Chelsea and Newcastle United.
8) Maximilian Arnold (Wolfsburg)
Compared by some to Arsenal star Mesut Ozil, Maximilian Arnold‘s fine form for Bundesliga side Wolfsburg has seen him linked with the Gunners in recent months. The talented youngster could still make his way to English football this summer after emerging as one of the best young talents in German football.
7) Roberto Firmino (Hoffenheim)
An exciting young Brazilian talent, Roberto Firmino was in excellent form for Bundesliga side Hoffenheim last season, showing ability in a variety of attacking roles to score 16 goals and provide 11 assists for his team-mates. A potentially world class winger or striker, his fine form has attracted the interest of both Arsenal and Liverpool in recent times, and it would be no surprise to see the 22-year-old make the move to a bigger club sooner rather than later.
6) Lars Bender (Bayer Leverkusen)
With Arsenal known to be in the market for a top class defensive midfielder this summer, it could be that they will turn to Bayer Leverkusen star Lars Bender again after also targeting him in last year’s transfer window. The 25-year-old has shown himself to be one of the top performers in that position in the whole German top flight, and he would be a great signing for the Gunners if they could get him.
5) Mats Hummels (Borussia Dortmund)
Perhaps the best centre-back in the world at the moment, Borussia Dortmund’s Mats Hummels has long been linked with a move to an elite European club, with Manchester United and Barcelona known to be his main admirers. The 25-year-old is now a World Cup winner with Germany to add to his two Bundesliga titles, and he may find he is ready for a new challenge in the near future, though it remains to be seen where that will be.
4) Julian Draxler (Schalke)
One of the most exciting young players in Europe, Schalke starlet Julian Draxler has been linked with both Arsenal and Tottenham in recent times after his superb displays for Schalke and Germany. The 20-year-old has the world at his feet, and is sure to be a star of the future, though it is not clear if he will leave his current club yet.
3) Ricardo Rodriguez (Wolfsburg)
A superb young defender, Wolfsburg left-back Ricardo Rodriguez has been linked with the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United in recent months after his fine displays in the Bundesliga. Still only 21, the Swiss international also caught the eye at this summer’s World Cup, with his great attacking play and defensive maturity.
2) Xherdan Shaqiri (Bayern Munich)
A top target for Liverpool, Bayern Munich may be about to lose their promising Swiss winger Xherdan Shaqiri this summer as he has struggled for first-team football in his time at the Allianz Arena. The 22-year-old has had a great deal of competition for places at Bayern, and may benefit from a move elsewhere to further his career.

One of the finest playmakers in Europe, Borussia Dortmund star is inevitably being talked up as a top transfer targets for big clubs this summer after continuing his superb form for the Bundesliga giants. Barcelona were strongly linked with him earlier in the summer, while the likes of Liverpool have also shown some interest in the classy German international.
