10) Iker Casillas (Real Madrid)

Seemingly surplus to requirements at Real Madrid, legendary goalkeepr Iker Casillas could be on his way out of the club this summer after an entire career spent at the Bernebau. The Spanish shot-stopper has not been at his best of late, and found himself dropped from the starting lineup at Madrid for some time, though Arsenal are still believed to be keen on snapping him up if he does become available.

9) Alex Song (Barcelona)

Formerly of Arsenal, Alex Song could be heading back to the Premier League this summer after failing to make any kind of impact in his two seasons with Barcelona. The Cameroon international has been up against some world class competition for places in the club’s midfield, and may relish the chance to return to England, with the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United said to be interested in taking him on.

8) Dani Alves (Barcelona)

One of the finest attacking full-backs in the game in recent years, Dani Alves has been a big part of Barcelona’s success since he joined the club in 2008. However, the Brazilian dynamo now looks somewhat past his best, and could be allowed to leave after attracting rumoured interest from the likes of Arsenal, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain.

7) Alvaro Vadillo (Real Betis)

One of the most exciting prospects in Spanish football, Real Betis youngster Alvaro Vadillo has been compared to Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo in his potential and style of play. Still only 19, Vadillo has been a key player for Betis in recent times, and his performances have not gone unnoticed by top clubs, with the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur all mentioned as possible suitors for him in the transfer market.

6) Miranda (Atletico Madrid)

One of the most solid defenders in the game at the moment, Brazilian centre-back Miranda was a key performer for Atletico Madrid as they shocked Europe to claim the La Liga title last season, as well as reaching the Champions League final. The 29-year-old’s performances have been recognised by the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Barcelona as they all look to strengthen in defence this summer, and with a rumoured release clause of around £24m, Miranda could potentially be one of the bargains of the summer, who will no doubt continue to attract media speculation.

5) Arda Turan (Atletico Madrid)

A superb attacking player, Turkish winger Arda Turan has also been an essential part of Atletico Madrid’s recent success, weighing in with good numbers of goals and assists to become regarded as one of the finest midfielders in the Spanish top flight. Manchester United have recently been linked with him as an option out wide, and they could certainly do worse than this skillful and intelligent winger.

4) Antoine Griezmann (Real Sociedad)

Another exciting attacking midfield player, Antoine Griezmann was in outstanding form for Real Sociedad last season, scoring 20 goals in all competitions to show Cristiano Ronaldo-like goalscoring ability from out wide. Still only 23, the French international is yet to reach his peak and could be an excellent signing with a release clause of just £24m. Atletico Madrid are currently looking the favourites to sign him, but there has also been plenty of interest from Premier League clubs such as Liverpool and Tottenham.

3) Karim Benzema (Real Madrid)

One of the most lethal strikers in Europe for the last few years, Karim Benzema continues to impress alongside some of the more glamorous names at Real Madrid. The French finisher notched up 24 goals in all competitions last season, and looked on good form at the World Cup this summer as well. Long linked with a move to England, the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool are still believed to be tracking him.

2) Sami Khedira (Real Madrid)

A World Cup winner with Germany to follow up his Champions League success with Real Madrid, it has been quite a season for Sami Khedira. The 27-year-old has had some bad luck with injuries, and as a result has slightly fallen down the pecking order at the Bernabeu, particularly with the club signing Toni Kroos from Bayern Munich. Khedira has just a year remaining on his contract and his potential availability has seen him strongly linked with both Arsenal and Chelsea in this transfer window.

1) Angel Di Maria (Real Madrid)

One of the most talked about players in Europe at the moment, Real Madrid look set to make Argentine winger Angel Di Maria available this summer despite his fantastic performances for the club last season. The 26-year-old remains one of the best attacking players in the world, and would no doubt be a top signing for the likes of Manchester United or Paris Saint-Germain if they can get their hands on him. Although he would probably cost as much as £49m, Di Maria would be one of the most exciting signings of the summer.
