St Mary’s side could face further player sales after unsavoury incident.
Southampton may well face further player sales after reports of a training ground bust-up.
It is alleged that three senior Saints players have been involved in a fracas with speculation rife that midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin is one of those involved.
The south-coast side have seen Luke Shaw, Rickie Lambert, Adam Lallana, Dejan Lovren and Calum Chambers leave thus far this summer and boss Ronald Koeman will be keen for the mass exodus to end there.
Fans of the club must be very worried about their side’s chances of building on an excellent top ten finish last term, with Southampton’s owners seemingly open to selling their prized assets.
This incident may well have indeed been the result of uncertainty at the club and is another headache Koeman will have to deal with.
