The World Cup winner recently completed his move from Bayern Munich to European champions Real Madrid. Although the exact fee is unknown, it is believed to be close to £24m.
9) Adam Lallana (Southampton to Liverpool, £25m)
The former Southampton captain joined Liverpool earlier this summer, becoming their second summer signing after teammate Rickie Lambert. The Reds paid the South Coast club £25m for the England international.

Manchester United paid Southampton an initial fee of £27m for the England full-back, making him the most expensive teenager of all time. The fee could rise as high as £31m based on his success.

The prolific Spanish striker finally completed his long discussed move from Spanish champions Atletico Madrid to Chelsea earlier this summer, with the move costing the Blues around £32m.

The talented Chilean joined Arsenal from Barcelona after the forward rejected the chance to move to Liverpool as part of the Luis Suarez deal. The Gunners paid around £35m.
3) David Luiz (Chelsea to Paris Saint-Germain, £40m – £50m)
Despite his mixed fortunes at Chelsea, French Champions PSG decided to make the Brazilian the most expensive defender of all time when they paid the Blues £40m for the player earlier this summer. Some reports of even suggested that the deal is worth closer to £50m.

Real Madrid made the AS Monaco man their third biggest ever signing after his brilliant six goal World Cup with Colombia. The fee was believed to be around £71m including add-ons.

Barcelona captured the controversial Uruguayan striker from Liverpool after he netted 31 Premier League goals last season, and won the PFA Player of the Year. The fee of £75m made him the third most expensive player of all time.
