10) Adrien Rabiot (Paris Saint-Germain)

A superbly talented French youngster, Adrien Rabiot has attracted interest from Premier League clubs such as Arsenal and Chelsea in recent times after struggling to establish himself as first choice with PSG. The 19-year-old faces a great deal of competition for places at the Parc des Princes due to the high number of big-money signings on the books at the club, but has still shown glimpses of great promise, and could make his way to a big club in the near future.

9) Clement Grenier (Lyon)

One of the most highly regarded talents in French football for some time now, Lyon attacking midfielder Clement Grenier has been linked with the likes of Arsenal in the past after his superb performances in Ligue 1. Although the 23-year-old suffered something of a dip in form last season, he only missed out on a place in France’s World Cup squad due to injury, and big things are still expected of him. A move to a bigger club may now be what he needs to further his career.

8) Marco Verratti (Paris Saint-Germain)

One of the most promising young talents in Italian football, Marco Verratti has started to make a name for himself in the French top flight with some fine performances for PSG. Still only 21 years old, the classy midfield playmaker has been linked with the likes of Manchester United and Real Madrid in recent times and could be set for a move this summer.

7) Alexandre Lacazette (Lyon)

After an excellent breakthrough season for Lyon in 2013/14, French striker Alexandre Lacazette is attracting plenty of interest this summer from the likes of Arsenal, Newcastle United, Liverpool and Everton, with the prolific forward netting 23 times in all competitions last season. Lyon have plenty of promising talent on their books at the moment, and Lacazette is certainly up there with the best of them.

6) Mathieu Valbuena (Marseille)

Widely regarded as one of Ligue 1’s best playmakers, Marseille star Mathieu Valbuena looks likely to be on the move this summer as he seeks a new challenge. Big clubs such as Arsenal and Liverpool have been linked with the French international, while newly-promoted Queens Park Rangers have also emerged as surprise candidates to win the race for his signature.

5) Marquinhos (Paris Saint-Germain)

One of the best defensive prospects in the world, Brazilian centre-back Marquinhos arrived at PSG from AS Roma last summer, and has settled in well in Ligue 1 with some solid and mature displays at the back. Still only 20, the defender is expected to be world class in a few years’ time, and has as such attracted strong interest from Barcelona in this summer’s transfer window, though PSG are unsurprisingly keen to hold on to him.

4) Maxime Gonalons (Lyon)

A fine all-round midfielder, Lyon captain Maxime Gonalons is another of the club’s top stars being linked with a move away this summer. Premier League sides such as Arsenal and Manchester United have been linked with him in recent times, though Serie A side Napoli may also be strong contenders to snap him up if he does become available in the near future.

3) Ezequiel Lavezzi (Paris Saint-Germain)

Reportedly a target for Chelsea and Liverpool, Argentine winger Ezequiel Lavezzi is another of many PSG stars attracting interest this summer. The 29-year-old, formerly of Napoli, has not quite settled into life in the French top flight and may be offloaded as the club look to adhere to Uefa’s Financial Fair Play regulations, meaning a number of sides could do well to snap him up ahead of next season.

2) Radamel Falcao (AS Monaco)

After just one season at AS Monaco, Colombian hot-shot Radamel Falcao could be set to leave Ligue 1 this summer after becoming a top transfer target for Real Madrid. The 28-year-old became regarded as one of the best strikers in the world during his time at previous club Atletico Madrid, and now appears keen on returning to Spain with their rivals Real, who may spend as much as £10m just to sign him on loan, with a view to a permanent transfer next year.

1) Edinson Cavani (Paris Saint-Germain)

Another player who has somewhat struggled to reach his best form since moving to France, PSG striker Edinson Cavani could be set to leave the Parc des Princes this summer after attracting strong interest from Manchester United and Chelsea. The Uruguayan is undoubtedly one of the best centre-forwards in the world on his day, but has been unfortunate to have to play second fiddle to the excellent Zlatan Ibrahimovic since moving to PSG last summer.
