Toffees draw 1-1 against FC Porto in celebration of Osman’s career.
Few players stay at one club to get a testimonial these days – so when they do come around, they tend to be a fantastic event. That was the case today, as Everton celebrated long-serving midfielder Leon Osman’s time at the club with a pre-season friendly against FC Porto.
Osman has spent his entire career at Goodison Park, save for a couple of loan spells, and was given a huge ovation when taken off in the game that Everton drew 1-1 – with Steven Naismith, rather than Osman, getting the goal.
