Predicting Arsenal’s Top 10 FIFA 15 Player Ratings With Mesut Ozil And Alexis Sanchez Fighting For Top Spot

How we think the Gunners stars will rate on the latest EA Sports release.

With the 2014/15 season just around the corner it also means that the release of the highly anticipated FIFA 15 is not far away either.

So in preparation, CaughtOffside predicts who will be the 10 best rated Arsenal players on the game, based on their rating last year and how much they have improved or declined since then.

Wojciech Szczesny – 80

The goalkeeper enjoyed a solid previous 12 months and as a result we expect the 24-year-old to move up slightly from his FIFA 14 rating to a respectable 80.

Jack Wilshere – 81

It was another relatively unremarkable campaign for the England international, who continues to fail to live up to expectations and we expect Wilshere to drop down one as a result.

Olivier Giroud – 81

Still widely derided the fact that Giroud scored 16 Premier League goals last term means the Frenchman can’t be that bad and we expect the 27-year-old to maintain his 81 rating.

Theo Walcott – 82

Although injured for much of the second half of last season the Englishman is still among the most influential players at the Emirates Stadium and will have a rating that reflects that.

Per Mertesacker – 83

Minus a handful of heavy defeats the Gunners were greatly improved at the back last term and that was largely thanks to this German, who’s score should go up because of it.

Santi Cazorla – 83

We expect Cazorla to drop down from the 85 score that the Spaniard enjoyed last year as the 29-year-old’s campaign stuttered and although he is clearly talented, things were nowhere near as good as in 2012/13.

Laurent Koscielny – 84

Alongside Mertesacker made up one half of one of the best central defensive partnerships in the English top tier and the France international’s superior technique sets him ahead in the ratings.

Aaron Ramsey – 85

The biggest increase is likely to be for this Welshman, who proved all his doubters wrong over the past 12 months with some impressive performances that saw him named the club’s Player of the Year.

Alexis Sanchez – 86

It’s also likely to be an increase for the North Londoners’ new £35m signing, after the Chilean scored 19 La Liga goals and provided 10 assists for FC Barcelona in 2013/14.

Mesut Ozil – 87

Still top of the pile is club record £42.4m signing Ozil, but after an indifferent first year in England we expect the attacking midfielder’s rating to drop by one.
