Spanish shot stopper set for extended Anfield stay.
Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina could be set for a prolonged stay at the club this summer after his proposed move to AC Milan hit a stumbling block over his £100,000 per week wage demands, according to the Independent.

Reina spent last season in Italy after moving to Napoli on a season-long loan, but while Rafael Benitez is believed to be hopeful of taking the 31-year-old on ahead of the new season.
The popular custodian still has two years left to run on his current deal, but as manager Brendan Rodgers shows a proclivity to play Simon Mignolet ahead of him, the Spaniard has apparently asked for his contract to be terminated despite having a £4m release clause that could be activated.
Milan are also looking at Reina with a view to taking him on a loan deal due to their financial issues, but the excessive salary that Reina is currently on has seen the move hit a stumbling block.
The Italian giants are thought to be intent on selling a number of their players, including striker Mario Balotelli, in order to fund moves elsewhere, though Liverpool have denied that they will be making any moves for the 23-year-old.
