Man United Plan Stunning £100m Clear-Out: Six Star Old Trafford Exodus Planned

Old Trafford side look to cash-in on talent that has cost the Premier League side a hefty fee to assemble.

Man United boss Louis van Gaal is a man on a mission, keen to re-shuffle his Old Trafford pack having run the rule over those in his squad.

The Daily Express claims that £100m worth of talent could on their way out as the Dutch manager goes about attempting to repair the damage done by his predecessor David Moyes.

Van Gaal will surely have been hugely impressed with the lion’s share of his squad after Man United’s successful North American tour secured five wins from five matches, but seemingly some are still set for the chop.

On the subject of his Man United charges Van Gaal has stated;

“I shall make judgments after this tour,”

“I have let all the players play and I know now more [about them] than before the tour.

“Now also it is a little bit soon to judge but in football you have to judge and you have to give a chance to the player to make a transfer when I see that his prospects to play are not so high.

“You have to say it in advance because it’s too late after August 31 and I will tell players after the tour – but to them, not to you.”

Wilfried Zaha

The young winger is set for a Man United exit and the Old Trafford side are ready to take a big ‘hit’ with any offer bound to be far lower than the £15m they paid for the Crystal Palace man back in January 2013.

A loan move is one option though an outright sale appears to be one Van Gaal is hoping to secure.

Marouane Fellaini

Similarly Man United will struggle to secure half the £27.5m fee they paid Everton for the midfield powerhouse, who had an atrocious debut season at the club.

Brought in by Moyes on deadline day last summer and then proceeded to use the Belgian in an unfamiliar holding midfield role, an experiment that failed.

Anderson

The Brazilian has struggled with his weight and has little to offer, so much so that despite forking out £17m for the midfielder seven years ago Man United may accept a nominal fee given that the former FC Porto man has just a year to run on his current deal.

Nani

The Portuguese winger cost £17m but having only recently been tied down to a long term deal Man United hope to bring in £10m from his sale and there are sure to be a decent number of suitors with Serie A title holders Juventus being one interested party.

Shinji Kagawa

Another player who hasn’t made a real impact of late and another who Man United hope to cash-in on. The arrival of Juan Mata in January was perhaps the Japanese international’s death knell.

A fee of £10m will be sought.

Javier Hernandez

The Mexican is said to be a Atletico Madrid target, the La Liga champions also courting Kagawa, and Chicharito is perhaps the one player of those on this mass exodus who has proven himself at Old Trafford.

That said, the 26 year old Mexican is further from the front of the striking pecking order than ever and as such a move to the Spanish capital may well be the best for all concerned.
