With the 2014/15 Premier League season just around the corner football fans from all over the world are rushing to get their Fantasy Football teams ready for the upcoming campaign.

10. Edin Dzeko, Manchester City – picked by 9.00%
Moved ahead of both Stevan Jovetic and Alvaro Negredo for a place in Manuel Pellegrini’s XI last season after a slow start and with Sergio Aguero often injured, Dzeko’s 16 league goals were vital in City winning the title.
9. Olivier Giroud, Arsenal – picked by 9.57%
Widely mocked by many, the France international proved many doubters wrong last term by also scoring 16 league goals and is the only out-and-out striker at the Emirates Stadium with any decent experience.
8. Wilfried Bony, Swansea City – picked by 12.03%
The Ivorian became the Swans’ most expensive player of all time last summer upon completing his £12m switch from Vitesse Arnhem and also netted 16 times in the English top tier.
7. Romelu Lukaku, Everton – picked by 12.33%
Another club record signing here as after impressing on-loan in 2013/14 the 21-year-old has made his move to Goodison Park permanent this summer in a £28m move from Chelsea.
6. Sergio Aguero, Manchester City – picked by 12.68%
Although spent much of his time on the sidelines due to injury concerns over the past 12 months, Aguero proved just how talented he is with 17 strikes in just 23 appearances regardless.
5. Robin van Persie, Manchester United – picked by 17.96%
Like Aguero the Netherlands international also struggled with his fitness last campaign, but despite only making 21 league appearances the 31-year-old still found the net on 12 occasions.
4. Diego Costa, Chelsea – picked by 22.68%
Completed a transfer to Stamford Bridge this summer upon signing from Atletico Madrid for £32m, a club that he helped to La Liga glory and the Champions League final last season with 36 goals.
3. Alexis Sanchez, Arsenal – picked by 24.19%
Another new face to English football now as Sanchez became the Gunners’ second most expensive player ever after completing a £35m switch from FC Barcelona.
2. Wayne Rooney, Manchester United – picked by 27.02%
Widely tipped to be the next Red Devils captain under new manager Louis van Gaal the 28-year-old has been one of the most consistent players in the league over the past 10 years.
1. Daniel Sturridge, Liverpool – picked by 33.63%
With Luis Suarez having now been sold to Barcelona the England international is the highest scorer in the league from last term, with Sturridge finding the net on 21 occasions as the Reds finished second.
