9. Olivier Giroud, Arsenal – picked by 9.57%

Widely mocked by many, the France international proved many doubters wrong last term by also scoring 16 league goals and is the only out-and-out striker at the Emirates Stadium with any decent experience.

8. Wilfried Bony, Swansea City – picked by 12.03%

The Ivorian became the Swans’ most expensive player of all time last summer upon completing his £12m switch from Vitesse Arnhem and also netted 16 times in the English top tier.

With Luis Suarez having now been sold to Barcelona the England international is the highest scorer in the league from last term, with Sturridge finding the net on 21 occasions as the Reds finished second.
