John Arne Riise’s footballing CV includes seven seasons at Liverpool.

During his time at Anfield, he won two Community Shields, two UEFA Super Cups, one FA Cup, one League Cup and the 2005 Champions League.

However, the 33-year-old left-back currently finds himself out of work, after leaving Fulham at the end of last season.

He is stepping up his efforts to get fit and find a new club.

Riise did an 11-mile run on Sunday, before crashing out in a sweaty heap with his two dogs.
