The Red Devils are considering a club record bid for the Argentina international to bolster their squad.
According to the Daily Star following Paris Saint-Germain’s refusal to pay the required amount for the Madrid ace, United now have a free reign to sign the 26-year-old.

Barca sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta had admitted that more players could be arriving at the Nou Camp this summer and the Colombia international is a key target.
Van Gaal has also shown interest in Cuadrado as he believes the 26-year-old would slot perfectly into his new 3-5-2 formation.

“He had offers from one of the biggest clubs in world football and we appreciate the fact that he chose to come here instead,” Zubizarreta was quoted by the Daily Mail.
