Liverpool Transfer Target And Manchester United Duo Included In Impressive New Look Juventus XI For 2014/15

The Italian champions are set to be busy this summer.

According to reports in the Daily Mail Juventus are preparing a mega swoop on Ligue 1 and the Premier League this summer in order to improve their squad.

Manchester United duo Javier Hernandez and Nani are understood to be on their wishlist, as is Manchester City forward Stevan Jovetic and Paris Saint-Germain star and Liverpool transfer target Ezequiel Lavezzi.

With Arturo Vidal also being strongly linked with a move away here is how Juve’s new look starting XI could lineup in 2014/15.

GK – Gianluigi Buffon

The captain of the club and at 36-years-old is still considered to be among the greatest goalkeepers in world football.

CB – Le0nardo Bonucci

A generally reliable performer at the back in a three-man central defence that has been common in Italian football for some time.

CB – Giorgio Chiellini

Perhaps most famous this summer for being on the receiving end of a Luis Suarez bite, but Chiellini is also one of the best defenders in the game currently.

CB – Patrice Evra

Signed from Old Trafford this summer for £1.2m and although generally deployed at left-back, is more than capable of operating more centrally.

RM – Nani

Has fallen down the pecking order at United in recent times and doesn’t really fit into manager Louis van Gaal’s new system.

CM – Andrea Pirlo

Another Italian veteran now, but at 35-years-old there are still few better passers in the game than Pirlo, who likes to operate in a deeplying playmaker role.

CM – Paul Pogba

The other side of the coin now, with the 21-year-old Pogba considered by many to be the finest young footballer in the game currently following two years of success in Turin.

LM – Ezequiel Lavezzi

On the other flank is an Argentina international who has made the newspapers for all the wrong reasons in recent times and is deemed surplus to requirements at PSG.

CAM – Carlos Tevez

Moved to Serie A from City last summer and enjoyed a fine season with La Bianconeri which led many to think Argentine national team coach Alejandro Sabella was foolish to leave him out of his 2014 World Cup squad.

ST – Stevan Jovetic

Found his first year in England difficult following a 2013 transfer from Fiorentina and although has been good in pre-season, may welcome a move back to Italian football.

ST – Javier Hernandez

A real poacher who has found himself struggling for game time with the Red Devils in recent times with Wayne Rooney, Robin van Persie and Danny Welbeck all ahead of him for a place in the XI.
