Ten Top Premier League Transfers That Will Be Completed Before the Summer Window Closes

Into the final weeks of the transfer window, but still time for these 10 deals to be sewn up.

Alberto Moreno (Sevilla-Liverpool)

This one has gone back and forth for weeks but by all accounts a deal is all but complete with the two sides only marginally apart in their valuations of the 21 year old Spanish international. Brendan Rodgers has invested well this summer and one imagines that as well as another striker signing this talented left-back will be sworn in before the end of the month.

Arturo Vidal (Juventus-Man United)

The Chilean has apparently already agreed personal terms with Man United and Louis van Gaal is certainly battling manfully to bring in the Serie A star. Prior to Antonio Conte’s departure one would have predicted that the 27 year old would stick with the Turin side he has helped to three successive domestic titles but following the departure of the Italian boss there is an almost inevitability about an impending Old Trafford move.

Mateo Musacchio (Villarreal-Tottenham)

Expect the 23 year old Argentine to be a Tottenham player in the very near future, helping White Hart Lane boss Mauricio Pochettino to solidify his leaky defence with the former Southampton man having already helped in that department with the purchases of Swansea City pair Michel Vorm and Ben Davies.

Connor Wickham (Sunderland-West Ham)

West Ham have failed with one move for the former Ipswich Town but a renewed bid is likely and we can well see the young England man pushing for a move to Upton Park. The 21 year old played a key role in the Black Cats pulling off a miraculous escape from relegation last term but is in the final year of his contract and apparently not happy with the deal on the table from the north-east side.

Wilfried Bony (Swansea City-Liverpool)

Having seen his move for Loic Remy fall through Brendan Rodgers is still looking to bring in further striking options to fill the void left by Luis Suarez’s departure to Barcelona. The Anfield boss is known to be keen on Bony, the Liberty Stadium man netting 25 goals in his debut season, and we can see the Welsh side reducing their asking price as the Ivory Coast man is said to be keen to secure a move to the Merseyside outfit.

Daley Blind (Ajax-Man United)

Louis van Gaal has spoken of his willingness to sign members of the Dutch national team set-up he presided over this summer and utility man Blind may be an ideal man to bring in. The 24 year old is ready to leave Ajax and wouldn’t cost the earth and likely to be one of a number of late summer moves the Old Trafford side will make as they look to erase the memory of last term’s shocking seventh place finish.

Marouane Fellaini (Man United-Napoli)

The Belgian had a shocking debut season at Old Trafford, admittedly partially down to being played out of position, and an exit is almost certain. The problem is that no side is willing to stump anywhere near the £27.5m David Moyes spent on the former Everton man and as such a loan move will be the order of the day and San Paolo boss Rafa Benitez is apparently the man who will make just such a capture.

Morgan Schneiderlin (Southampton-Tottenham)

Though the St Mary’s side have repeatedly claimed no more of their players will be leaving this summer we are fairly certain that when push comes to shove the south-coast side will accept big offers for the 24 year old rather than be stuck with an unhappy player, especially one who has given the Saints six seasons solid service. Expect Mauricio Pochettino to welcome in the French international.

Wilfried Zaha (Man United-Newcastle United)

Another Old Trafford player who will almost certainly leave this summer and we feel the likely exit of French misfit Hatem Ben Arfa will leave the door open for the former Crystal Palace man to leave Man United for pastures new before he even had a chance to prove himself at the club.

Mehdi Benatia (AS Roma-Chelsea)

It’s not a move that makes a great deal of sense in view of just how many central defensive options Jose Mourinho currently has but it’s a move that we believe will be completed nonetheless. A £30m move is apparently on the cards and is perhaps an indictment of the fact that youngster Kurt Zouma isn’t up to scratch yet or perhaps the French born Moroccan international is considered a replacement for John Terry going forward.
