Mathieu Debuchy – 5
Fairly lacklustre display from the Frenchman, unable to get into the play going forward and not very impressive on the back foot.

Fairly solid, made a few last ditch blocks but overall unconvincing.
Nacho Monreal – 6
A real threat going forward and provided a superb cross for Olivier Giroud’s goal but not to convincing at the back.
Calum Chambers 4
The youngster had impressed in previous outings but looked way out of his depth today making silly errors and frequently being overrun.
Jack Wilshere – 5
Off the pace and unable to influence the game and was rightly subbed.
Mesut Ozil – 5
Virtually non-existent the German vanished for large periods and made little or no impact.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain – 6
Full of running but at times looked aimless
Aaron Ramsey – 8
No shortage of endeavour and often thinking far ahead of his team-mates.
Mathieu Flamini – 6
Showed plenty of energy but gave the ball away far too often.
Alexis Sanchez – 5
Chilean had an edgy display and was pulled off at half-time.
