Arsenal’s predicted line up to take on Everton.
Arsenal will be looking to build on their opening day victory over Crystal Palace by claiming another early scalp in the shape of Everton. GK: Wojciech Szczesny
With David Ospina still on the sidelines then the Pole will be the undisputed third choice to start.
LB: Nacho Monreal
The Spaniard will continue to deputise for the injured Kieran Gibbs.
CB: Laurent Koscielny
The Frenchman is expected to shake off a minor injury to keep his place in the side.
CB: Calum Chambers
The youngster has started his Gunners career off with a bang and will continue to fill in at centre-back.
RB: Mathieu Debuchy
Still going strong in his new role, the France international will make it tough for Chambers to dispossess him when Mertesacker returns.
DM: Mathieu Flamini
Flamini will stand in for the injured captain Mikel Arteta at the base of the midfield.
CM: Jack Wilshere
Wilshere has began the season well, but can do better, and he will need to step it up sooner rather than later.
CM: Aaron Ramsey
The Welshman will likely play a little further forward than Wilshere to provide more support to the attack.
RW: Alexis Sanchez
Sanchez has been hit and miss so far, but Wenger will stick with him so he can get into his groove.
LW: Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
Now the Ox is fit again he will likely come in to replace the woeful Cazorla on the left flank.
ST: Olivier Giroud
It’s clear that Wenger doesn’t yet trust Sanogo or Campbell to go from the start and will stick with the France international for a little while yet.
