“The future is complicated. There are a few things that have to be sorted and we have to take it from there. I actually don’t know what will happen,” the 29-year-old told Danish newspaper Jyllands Posten.
Balotelli set to make debut against Tottenham Hotspur
After completing his return to England on Monday, Rodgers has revealed that the Italy international is in line for his debut against Spurs on Sunday.
The 24-year-old set the Merseysiders back £16m and became their ninth new signing of the summer and took their total spending to £117m.
“He’s in to work and he’ll be available for the squad for the weekend,” the Northern Irishman told the club’s website.
