The Argentine playmaker looks set to complete a loan to the North East, and could join Sunderland permanently at the end of the season for €10m if he impresses.
1) Radamel Falcao – AS Monaco to Real Madrid
Los Blancos are prepared to pay the £20m loan fee required to secure the world-class forward for the season. Falcao will jump at a chance to move, and the Champions League holders are almost certain to rush through a deal considering they only have Karim Benzema as an out and out centre-forward.
