Leicester City 1-1 Arsenal: Player Ratings as Yaya Sanogo Puts In Inept Display But Calum Chambers Puts In Rock Solid Defensive Display

Gunners fail to overcome newly promoted Foxes after lacklustre display at the King Power Stadium.

Arsenal failed to secure a win away at Leicester City with Arsene Wenger’s attack proving wasteful in front of goal.

The Gunners had 24 efforts at the Foxes goal but only six were on target and this was down largely to a very poor display from youngster Yaya Sanogo, who led the line with Olivier Giroud out injured.

Pole put in a solid display making a few eye-catching saves

Mathieu Debuchy – 5

Per Mertesacker – 5

German looked off the pace and was at fault for Jose Ulloa’s goal.

Laurent Koscielny – 5

Nacho Monreal – 6

Fairly secure performance from the Spaniard.

A rare off day from the Welshman, struggled to get into the game and wasn’t really at the races.

Santi Cazorla – 7

Spaniard looked lively, often a pass ahead of his team-mates.

Simply not good enough. Young Frenchman looked out of his depth from start to finish.
