Belgian worried that MK defeat could be his final bow.

It is widely expected that Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal will be allowing a number of players to leave Old Trafford before the transfer window closes on Monday evening, but shock reports have emerged from the Mirror that Belgian winger Adnan Januzaj could be amongst those set for the chop.
Januzaj supposedly refused to give away his shirt following the humiliating 4-0 League Cup defeat in Buckinghamshire to MK Dons in the week, fearing that it would be his last match for the club, although it would be a huge shock if van Gaal allowed one of the club’s most exciting young talents to move on.
Whilst that premonition proved to be untrue, with Januzaj coming on for three minutes at the end of United’s dire 0-0 draw with Burnley yesterday, the Belgian is only fourth choice number ten at Old Trafford and van Gaal does not seem to be keen on using him on alternative roles within the 3-4-1-2 system after a dodgy display in central midfield at Sunderland.
It is not clear whether a potential departure for Januzaj would be permanent or on loan, with the teenager’s displays for United as one of few bright spots in a dismal 2013/14 season for the club meaning that the club are unlikely to want to lose him permanently, but van Gaal has been known to allow players to move on from his clubs surprisingly in the past.
