Welcome to transfer deadline day, one of the most exciting times of year for every football fan. Here are ten Premier League players that could be on their way to a club near you before the window slams shut:

10) Marco van Ginkel (Chelsea)

Hull City have been chasing a loan deal for the Chelsea midfielder, who is well down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge. The Blues could jump at the opportunity to allow the youngster some Premier League experience.

9) Micah Richards (Manchester City)

Sunderland are the favourites to sign the former England full-back, who is desperate to leave Manchester City after several injury plagued years at the Etihad Stadium. A season-long loan move is likely.

8) Tom Cleverley (Manchester United)

Aston Villa are among a shortlist of teams targeting the England international midfielder, who has been told he can leave Old Trafford after failing to impress new manager Louis van Gaal.

7) Joel Campbell (Arsenal)

Arsene Wenger is desperate to keep hold of the Costa Rica star, who will add to his currently limited striking options. However, the player would prefer a move away according to reports, with Benfica a possible destination.

6) Mohamed Diame (West Ham United)

Diame is free to leave West Ham following the arrival of Alex Song from Barcelona. The midfielder was once linked to Liverpool, but could now be a target for Everton.

5) Javier Hernandez (Manchester United)

The wantaway Mexican has been linked with a whole host of clubs, most recently Real Madrid – who could make a surprise swoop. The player is free to leave, and could be a late bargain for a number of Premier League clubs.

4) Lewis Holtby (Tottenham Hotspur)

After spending the second half of last season on loan at Fulham, the German is free to leave Spurs this summer, and could make a deadline day move. A move back to his homeland is possible, but a Premier League team could also swoop.

3) Fabio Borini (Liverpool)

The Italian is likely to be the most high profile of several late Liverpool departures. Sunderland have been linked with the player throughout the summer, while both AC and Inter Milan have also made an enquiry.

2) Loic Remy (QPR)

The Frenchman will complete his move to Chelsea after Arsenal withdrew their interest in the player. After seeing a move to Liverpool collapse earlier this summer, the 27-year-old will be delighted to get a move to a Champions League club.

1) Danny Welbeck (Manchester United)

Tottenham are the favourites to land the Manchester United and England forward, who is likely to be another high profile departure from Old Trafford. United want £3.5m if he leaves on loan.
