With FIFA 15 set to be released at the end of the month, the internet has been buzzing with all sorts of graphics and rumours over who will be the best rated Ultimate Team. Well, today is your lucky day as we at CaughtOffside have managed to get our hands on a list of the ten best rated strikers of the new game.

12. Diego Costa – Chelsea

Rating: 85

Just about sneaking onto the list, Costa’s form in La Liga last year will continue into his first season at Stamford Bridge. Helping fire Atletico Madrid to the title, his rating could improve even further next summer should he have a similar impact on the Premier League.

11. Carlos Tevez – Juventus

Rating: 85

Still going strong despite his advancing years and despite not partaking in Argentina’s march to the World Cup final he is still in line for an upgrade to 86. Scoring 21 goals in 45 appearances in Juventus’ Scudetto probably had something to do with it.

10. Karim Benzema – Real Madrid

Rating: 85

After a slow start last season, Benzema quickly got himself going and put himself in a good frame of mind for the World Cup this summer, where he continued to score with abandon. This will see his rating card move up two whole points from last season’s game.

9. Edinson Cavani – Paris Saint Germain

Rating: 86

Like Costa, the Uruguayan enjoyed a strong season last year and as such has been rewarded for it by EA Sports. Still a shadow of his colleague Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but he is still a handy addition to any Ultimate Team that happen to come across him.

8. Wayne Rooney – Manchester United

Rating: 87

Having outdone his strike partner Robin Van Persie last season, the England international has been moved up a notch on FIFA thanks to his form in front of goal, which was aided by him bagging his first ever strike at a World Cup.

7. Robin Van Persie – Manchester United

Rating: 88

However, the Dutchman will have the last laugh over his club mate by being ranked higher. This is still not the great news it appears to be as it comes in the form of a downgrade from his ranking of 89 in the last game.

6. Robert Lewandowski – Borussia Dortmund

Rating: 88

The Polish superstar managed 28 goals in 46 games for Borussia Dortmund last season, and has scored 65 goals in his last 95 games for the club. Despite missing out in the World Cup, his ranking card has jumped up by two whole points from the last game.

5. Sergio Aguero – Manchester City

Rating: 88

Undoubtedly the best striker in the Premier League now that Luis Suarez has departed and this year’s game will see him stay at 88, which is the same score he clocked up last year.

4. Radamel Falcao – Manchester United

Rating: 89

Suffering a downgrade from the 90 he received last year, an injury hit first (and seemingly only) season in France still sees him ranking highly. A good season in the Premier League should restore him to former glories.

3. Zlatan Ibrahimovic – Paris Saint Germain

Rating: 90

PSG have been rather spoiled for choice this year as both Zlatan and Edinson Cavani make it into the upper echelons of the list. The Swede has moved up a point from last year, which is amazing considering his age.

2. Luis Suarez – Barcelona

Rating: 90

Quite possibly one of the best strikers in the world, that status has been backed up by his impressive FIFA ranking that is based on his 31 goals in 33 appearances for Liverpool last season. His score of 90 is a two point improvement on his score from FIFA 14.

1. Lionel Messi – Barcelona

Rating: 94

Still the best player in the game and still retaining his 94 score.
