Fabio Borini could leave Liverpool for Inter Milan in January
There were constant links with the Italian’s departure from Anfield this summer, with Sunderland and QPR both looking to sign him.
Yet Borini opted to stay, despite the fact Daniel Sturridge and new signings Rickie Lambert and Mario Balotelli are all ahead of him for a place in the starting XI.
However, Inter are now lining up a £10m bid for the striker in the New Year, which the Reds are almost certain to accept, according to the Daily Express.
Jon Flanagan set to sign new four-year deal
There is good news for the Merseyside club and their young talent as 21-year-old Flanagan is set to sign a new four-year deal at the club, reports the International Business Times.
The defender greatly impressed last season whether playing at right or left-back and is recognised as one of a group of exciting young Englishmen.
Flanagan is yet to make an appearance for Brendan Rodgers’ men this term though due to injury.
Kolo Toure prepared to wait for his chance with the Reds
Many may have forgotten that the centre-back is still at the club, as Toure has fallen well down the pecking order for a place in the first team.
Martin Skrtel, Mamadou Sakho and new signing Dejan Lovren are all ahead of the 33-year-old, but that doesn’t faze the defender.
“There are so many games this season with the four competitions that the manager needs depth. I am sure everyone will get chances at some point,” Toure was quoted by the Liverpool Echo.
Alberto Moreno targeting Champions League glory
There were nine new additions at Anfield this summer, one of whom was £12m left-back Moreno who arrived from Sevilla.
The Spain international has started well at his new club and is now looking to do well in the Champions League.
“I saw the trophy at Melwood and I got goose bumps. Hopefully we can win it this year, hopefully that day will come,” Moreno was quoted by Inside Futbol.

The Italy international is aiming to get into the fans’ good books after posting a quote from club legend Bill Shankly on his Instagram account.
Balotelli has returned to English football after an 18-month spell with AC Milan and is looking to impress early.
