Raheem Sterling (Liverpool)

The electric Liverpool teenager is flourishing into an absolutely marvelous player, capable of changing a game on its head in an instant with his pace and ability to dribble past people, whilst also adding more composure to his game under Brendan Rodgers.

Rolando Aarons (Newcastle United)

Alan Pardew and Newcastle United are very excited about teenage winger Rolando Aarons, who already has a Premier League goal and assist to his name since being given his debut on the opening day of the season – comparisons to Sterling are already being made.

James Wilson (Manchester United)

Prolific striker James Wilson already has a couple of Premier League goals for Manchester United to his name, after scoring twice against Hull City last season, and will be looking to use the departures of Danny Welbeck and Javier Hernandez to make himself primary back-up to the club’s three senior strikers.

Liam Moore (Leicester City)

The Leicester City and England Under 21 centre back Liam Moore has been fantastic for the Foxes so far after they started the season with some impressive performances – it looks as though the academy graduate has been playing in the Premier League for much longer than one month.

Saido Berahino (West Bromwich Albion)

Scored twice during West Brom’s opening Premier League draw against Sunderland and has the potential to enjoy a real breakthrough season for the Baggies under Alan Irvine, combining raw pace with the ability to score goals from all angles, despite his inconsistency.

Jack Grealish (Aston Villa)

Paul Lambert has been willing to use dazzling young winger Jack Grealish in Aston Villa’s early games this season, despite some roughhouse tactics from opposition sides such as Hull City, with the young Irishman having the potential to build on last season’s impressive loan spell at Notts County by establishing himself in the Villa first team.

Nathaniel Chalobah (Burnley on loan from Chelsea)

Young Chelsea and England Under 21 midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah made the loan move to newly promoted Burnley on transfer deadline day and has the opportunity to establish himself in a Burnley midfield that needs beefing up if they are to avoid relegation – he certainly has the raw attributes to be a fine Premier League player.

Calum Chambers (Arsenal)

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger spent £16 million on defender Calum Chambers from Southampton this summer, so he should make this list, but the teenager has been excellent for the Gunners so far in an unfamiliar centre back role. He has the intelligence and the composure on the ball to flourish into a fine defensive option for Wenger.

Nabil Bentaleb (Tottenham Hotspur)

Algerian international midfielder Nabil Bentaleb endured some criticism from fans under Tim Sherwood last season, but he has kept his place under Mauricio Pochettino and shown that his rise to the club’s first team was thoroughly on merit, as a busy and also creative central midfield player.

Diego Poyet (West Ham United)

Yet to make his impression on the West Ham United first team, midfielder Diego Poyet is waiting in the wings for his opportunity at Upton Park. Talented and creative, Poyet enjoyed a fine season with Charlton Athletic in the Championship during 2013/14 and has the raw ability to make it as a regular under Sam Allardyce this season.
