Usually the first port of call for a young footballer is the a car dealership, and if they are any good, the cars tend to get bigger as their wealth grows, too. 10. Nani – Sporting Lisbon (on loan from Man United)

Having recently rejoined former club Sporting Lisbon it remains to be seen what has become of his prized Lamborghini as piloting it around the Portuguese capital’s narrow streets would present a whole set of problems. Rumoured to have shelled out £140,000 for the privilege, he will be hoping to keep it in tip top condition whilst away.

The Atletico winger is usually being linked with a move elsewhere and wherever he ends up he will be hoping to take this little beauty with him. Reportedly costing the Turkish international £145,000, this Merc had the LA Liga champions cruising around the city in style.

To commemorate his widely hailed return to the west London club this summer, the Ivorian veteran has spaced out around £150,000 on this brand new Mercedes. This will no doubt ensure that he is being transported around the capital city in supreme style.

The England star certainly knows his cars and sprung for the classy Aston Martin at a cool £150,000. While we may baulk at that price tag, it’s but a mere drop in the ocean for Rooney, who now earns double that per week.

Remember that shocking name we told you about? Well here he is. The former Liverpool winger spent a whopping £170,000 on customising his Aston Martin with a chrome finish. Perhaps another surprising name to add to proceedings, considering he hasn’t played top flight football since 2010. However, that seemingly does not matter to the Senegalese international, who dropped an astonishing £420,000 to bag the McLaren.

The world’s most expensive player was going to be driving the world’s most expensive car, of course! The Portuguese mega star apparently coughed up a whopping £2m for the pleasure of driving this exquisite beast and it is as flashy as you’d expect.
