10) Sadio Mane (Southampton)

The 22-year-old Senegalese midfielder scored 31 goals in 63 league games for former club Red Bull Salzburg, and after moving to Southampton on deadline day, he will be hoping to bring that form to the Premier League.

9) Eliaquim Mangala (Manchester City)

The French international defender has the potential to be one of the best centre-backs in the world, and it will be intriguing to see how he develops alongside Vincent Kompany following his switch from Porto.

8) Abel Hernandez (Hull City)

The Tigers broke their club transfer record to sign the 24-year-old on deadline day. A regular goalscorer for both Palermo and Uruguay, it will be interesting to see how he adapts to life in the Premier League.

7) Esteban Cambiasso (Leicester City)

The veteran Argentine midfielder was an unused substitute in his team’s highly creditable draw with Arsenal last weekend. However, the Foxes’ fans will have been desperate to see their marquee signing play for the first time.

6) Loic Remy (Chelsea)

An exciting forward option for the Blues, who will compliment Diego Costa and Didier Drogba in Jose Mourinho’s new look strike-force. The Frenchman will be desperate to get off to a good start.

5) Adam Lallana (Liverpool)

It seems like an age ago that Liverpool signed the Southampton and England midfielder. However, an injury has so far prevented him from making his debut. He is now nearing a return to full-fitness, and could play some part against Aston Villa next week.

4) Danny Welbeck (Arsenal)

Is he the answer to Arsenal’s problems? His 20 minute cameo certainly lit-up England’s 1-0 victory over Norway in mid-week, where he was arguably the second best player in a white shirt behind Raheem Sterling.

3) Angel di Maria (Manchester United)

His debut againt Burnley was a quiet one, but the Argentine winger hit top-form while on international duty this week – scoring one and making three assists in his team’s 4-2 win over World Cup winners Germany.

2) Mario Balotelli (Liverpool)

There were promising signs from the Italian forward on his Liverpool debut, and he will be hoping to improve on that with his first club goal against Aston Villa next weekend.

1) Radamel Falcao (Manchester United)

The Colombian forward is renowned as one of the best strikers in world football, and Premier League fans across the country cannot wait to see whether or not he will be a hit at Old Trafford.
