Radamel Falcao Promises Goals
Radamel Falcao says he wants to bring “goals and victories” to Manchester United, ahead of his potential debut against Queens Park Rangers next weekend. The Colombian moved to Old Trafford from AS Monaco on a deadline day loan deal.
Speaking to the Observer in Miami, who were in turn quoted by The Guardian, he said: “For me it is amazing. I am very happy. I hope to give my team the best and help to bring a lot of goals and victories.
United Targeting January Spending Spree

Cristiano Ronaldo Return Edges Closer
Ronaldo has spoken openly about his desire to return to Manchester United before he ends his career. The Portuguese World Player of the Year told The Telegraph: “I left many good friends there. The supporters are amazing and I wish I can come back one day.”

The source adds that United’s owners are confident that the financial benefits of welcoming back Ronaldo to the club more than outweigh the fairly hefty bid for a player who will be entering the latter stages of his glittering career.
Angel di Maria’s £4m Contract Clause
Manchester United’s new record signing, Argentine winger Angel di Maria, will earn a staggering £4m contract bonus if he wins the Ballon d’Or — the award given to the best player in the world — during his time at the Premier League club.
The Telegraph explains: It is understood that the extra clause was included at the suggestion of Real’s negotiators, and representatives of Di??María during talks with the United hierarchy. United are comfortable with the arrangement, with senior sources believing that should Di María win the Ballon d’Or it would be not just an indication of the quality of the player but would also be likely to be accompanied by team success.
