5) Theo Walcott (Arsenal, 20.42 mph)

No surprise to see the pacey Arsenal winger near the top of this list. The player has already promised to come back quicker this season, once he has finished his recovery from an injury sustained in January.

4) Aaron Lennon (Tottenham Hotspur, 20.43 mph)

The former England man has struggled for form in recent times, but his lightning pace still remains, and that pace can still be a danger to any opposition Tottenham may face in the Premier League.

3) Stewart Downing (West Ham United, 20.49 mph)

No this is not a typo. Quite how the former Liverpool man managed to hit these dizzying heights is anyone’s guess – perhaps he was running away from Andy Carroll, who knows?! But it seems that the wide-man is pacier than we may have thought.

2) Gabriel Agbonlahor (Aston Villa, 20.67 mph)

Another player whose game in built around pace. The former England man enjoyed plenty of success during the early stages of his career by simply being able to skip away from defenders. That has begun to change in recent seasons, but he still has plenty of speed within him.

1) Mohamed Salah (Chelsea, 20.70 mph)

The Egyptian has already shown his lightning pace in the Premier League after joining Chelsea in January earlier this year. He will need to show a little bit more to his game to earn a regular spot in the Blues team this year however, with plenty of competition for places, especially in attacking midfield roles.
