Here are the top ten new Premier League signings who have made the biggest impact for their clubs.

10. Mario Balotelli

The Italian forward has only played two games for Liverpool but has looked promising in both. On his debut against Tottenham, Balotelli was excellent, linking up with Daniel Sturridge and co regularly. His performance had everything except a goal. A good start from the former Manchester City man.

9. Fraser Forster

The former Celtic keeper has moved effortlessly into the Southampton goal and has immediately looked at home in England’s top flight. Some were worried that he may struggle in the more competitive league after coming from the SPL but the England international has looked excellent.

8. Alberto Moreno

Moreno looks like he could be a really good signing for Liverpool. While defensively he still has a bit to learn, going forward he looks incredibly dangerous. His goal at Tottenham was a wonderful solo effort that suggests we will be seeing lots of great attacking play from the Spaniard in future.

7. Eric Dier

The youngster was a bit of an unknown when he moved to Tottenham but he has now slotted effortlessly into the right back position of Spurs first team. While he has been safe defensively he has also shown a great knack of being able to get forward and into dangerous positions like his goal at West Ham.  A call-up to the next England squad has even been mentioned.

6. Fernando

Many thought that Fernando was one of the bargains of the summer when Manchester City bought him for £12 million and after three games for the Sky Blues, that appears to be the case. He has been excellent at the heart of the City midfield, protecting his back four while letting his side’s more creative players look to create opportunities without worrying about defending.

5. Alexis Sanchez

The Chilean forward didn’t come cheap with Arsenal paying Barcelona £35 million for his services. However, after just four games with the Gunners, he looks to be a fantastic signing. He brings the pace, power and quality that the Gunners were missing last season as his wonderful volley against Manchester City proves.

4. Graziano Pelle

The Italian was brought in to replace Rickie Lambert, who scored many crucial goals for the Saints over the years before moving to Liverpool during the summer. Pelle looks to be a good fit for Southampton after playing just four games for them. He has scored 3 goals, including two against Newcastle, giving his side a goal scoring threat that could help them into Europe this season.

3. Leonardo Ulloa

Like Pelle, Ulloa has scored 3 goals in just four games. However, unlike the Italian, the 28 year olds goal scoring exploits are a bit of a surprise. The Argentine was prolific for Brighton last season in the Championship but no one really expected him to continue that excellent form in the tougher Premier League. Ulloa has given Leicester a real physical presence up front and even top quality defences like Arsenal’s have struggled to cope with him.

2. Cesc Fabregas

The Spaniard has already looked right at home in his second spell in the Premier League. He has given Chelsea a range of passing that they didn’t have last season, meaning the Blues have created many more chances and have already scored a lot of goals. In just four appearances this season, he has six assists which is a startling ratio and suggests that he is one of the main reasons behind his side’s sparkling form.

1. Diego Costa

Another factor behind Chelsea’s excellent early season form is the goal scoring exploits of Diego Costa. The Spaniard has scored 7 goals in just 4 games. Any chance he gets seems to be hitting the back of the net. The Blues had a problem taking their chances last season but that isn’t going to happen this time around if the former Atletico Madrid front man stays fit.
