Here are five players who’ll be enjoying their week in training following Premier League heroics on Saturday and Sunday…

5) Angel di Maria – Manchester United

If di Maria continues playing like this, he’ll start paying back his £59.7m transfer fee in no time. The Argentine bagged the opener, assisted Juan Mata’s fourth, and looked dangerous throughout. His deft through-ball to Robin van Persie was a particular highlight.

4) Jack Wilshere – Arsenal

Probably Wilshere’s best performance in an Arsenal shirt in quite some time. Not only did the Englishman bag the all-important equaliser against Manchester City with his right foot, but he linked up expertly with Alexis Sanchez and Aaron Ramsey in the midfield.

3) Diego Costa – Chelsea

Has a new signing ever made a better start to Premier League life than Diego Costa? Probably not, is the answer. Seven goals in four matches, his record now reads, following a clinical hat-trick against Swansea.

2) Leonardo Ulloa – Leicester City

This time last year, Ulloa was playing for Brighton, but now aged 28, he’s scoring Premier League goals for fun. He’s notched three in four matches now, and earned Leicester a well-earned first win.

1) Graziano Pelle – Southampton

Two goals from the Italian striker helped the Saints batter Newcastle at St. Mary’s. Pelle has been excellent since arriving, more than filling the void left by Rickie Lambert. Pelle is equally as strong in the air, but is quicker than his English counterpart.
