Liverpool return to the Champions League tonight, with boss Brendan Rodgers insisting they are finally back where they belong, the Daily Star reports.

The five-time kings of Europe are back in the competition fro the first time since 2009.

However, Liverpool must begin their Champions League campaign without key defender Martin Skrtel, according to the Daily Star.

The Slovakian ace missed the weekend defeat to Aston Villa and the win at Totteham before the international break, and he will once again be sidelined despite making a return to training yesterday.
