After four games, here are the top ten players that you have to have in your team.

10) Angel di Maria – Manchester United – £9.7m

There is no denying that Manchester United have been in a terrible slump as of late, but once their plethora of new signings bed themselves in, their form is sure to pick up.

Whether they will return to the lofty heights of recent seasons straight away is questionable, but the goals are sure to come, and Angel di Maria looks like he will be at the centre of those goals.

Having already risen from £9.5m to £9.7m he is a popular choice and certainly not cheap, but he looks like the best way into an extremely powerful looking Manchester United front line.

9) Aaron Ramsey – Arsenal – £9.1m

The Welshman has suffered a slight dip over the last few games, especially compared to the unstoppable form he showed at times last season. He has however still been scoring and assisting, which shows that even when he is not playing his best football he is getting into the right positions.

He has come on leaps and bounds in the last couple of seasons and will no doubt be a key player for Arsenal again this year, at £9.1m he is looking like a reliable source of points at this stage of the campaign.

8) Raheem Sterling – Liverpool – £8.8m

The young Liverpool ace started the season in blistering form, looking to replace the goals his side had lost with the departure of Luis Suarez.

He is unlikely to maintain the same form throughout the year and could prove erratic in terms of points return, but his pace and trickery is a constant threat and he has been involved in everything good about Brendan Rodgers’ side so far.

Having already risen to £8.8m he may not be the best value for money, but he is certainly proving a popular choice for players this year.

7) Graziano Pelle – Southampton – £7.6m

After a mass exodus over the summer, Southampton were tipped for failure before a ball was even kicked. The Saints’ new manager Ronald Koeman has made some astute signings however, and Pelle looks to be a good fit for the Premier League and the right player to lead the line for his new team.

Netting three times in his last two games he looks to be settling in nicely, and with Southampton’s favourable upcoming fixtures he could be a fantastic source of points.

Still rated at just £7.6m he is certainly one to keep an eye on, perhaps getting him in before people realise his true value.

6) Branislav Ivanovic – Chelsea – £7.3m

Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea are usually notoriously stingy at the back, with the Blues back line a guarantee of points in recent seasons.

The London club hasn’t been quite as watertight this campaign, but that is likely to improve as the season goes on, so one Chelsea defender could prove a necessity.

Easily the most expensive at £7.3m, Ivanovic is definitely a luxury purchase, but his appeal is that he offers not only defensive stability, but an amazing goalscoring record to boot.

With poor upcoming fixtures he is not one to put in right now, but if his price drops over the next few weeks he could prove a worthwhile buy.

5) Theo Walcott – Arsenal – £9.0m

Arsenal’s pacey winger holds a number of records over the last few seasons for having the best points per minutes played in the Premier League.

Although the England man is still out injured, he is set to return very soon, and once he regains full fitness he is likely to be a potent force once again.

With Walcott often operating high up the pitch, the fact that he is still offered as a midfielder is fantastic for Fantasy League. His goalscoring record is superb and with Giroud out injured he may even get opportunities to play up top.

At £9.0m he may prove to be one of Arsenal’s best points generators this season.

4) Gylfi Sigurdsson – Swansea – £6.5m

Swansea have been the surprise package so far this season, winning every match until they came up against current league leaders Chelsea.

Making his return to the Welsh club after a less than successful stint with Spurs, Gylfi Sigurdsson looks to be settling straight back into his favoured number ten position, pulling all the strings for the Swans.

With pace and power ahead of him, he is likely to get a huge number of assists this season, and he regularly chips in with goals as well.

Having already risen from £6.0m to £6.5m his potential has clearly been recognised, but the Icelandic midfielder is still far cheaper than many of the other big hitters.

3) Cesc Fabregas – Chelsea – £9.4

Chelsea signed the former Arsenal captain this summer in a deal which surprised a lot of people, and Gunners’ fans will be ruing the decision not to bring Fabregas back even more since seeing his stellar performances for the Blues.

The Spaniard has struck up a great partnership with Diego Costa, and neither of them look like slowing down.

Having already risen to £9.4m and with a poor run of games coming up you may not want to bring him in right now, but the former Barcelona man looks like a definite early candidate for team of the year, and it’s hard to see many top teams without him.

2) Sergio Aguero – Manchester City – £12.1m

If the Argentine can stay fit, Sergio Aguero is a definite challenger for the Golden Boot. He is arguably the most clinical finisher in the league, and with players like David Silva, Samir Nasri, and Jesus Navas around him, he is sure to get plenty of opportunities.

It is a big if when talking about his fitness, as the South American rarely stays fit for an entire season. His lofty price tag of £12.1m is also a bit of a turn off, but when he is in the side he is likely to be one of the most reliable sources of points in the league.

1) Diego Costa – Chelsea – £10.8m

If you don’t have Diego Costa in your team by now then you haven’t been paying enough attention, with the summer signing in unbelievable goalscoring form at the moment.

Having netted seven goals already, he looks almost a certainty for the Golden Boot, and a guaranteed goldmine in terms of points.

Having started at a modest £10.5m, he has risen to £10.8 already and is sure to keep rising. Despite a poor run of games coming up, this is a player you should get into your side as soon as possible.
