Manager Mauricio Pochettino is expected to continue his rotation policy and there are a few names in line for their Spurs debut.

Here’s how CaughtOffside thinks the North London side will lineup.

GK – Michel Vorm

It’s a chance for the goalkeeper to make his Tottenham debut following a summer transfer from Swansea City, although usurping Hugo Lloris on a permanent basis is a difficult task.

RB – Kyle Naughton

The full-back is likely to be given another chance with Pochettino using the opportunity to rest usual right-back Eric Dier, although Naughton still has much to prove.

CB – Younes Kaboul

The captain gets a spot in our team to add some grit and experience, although there is every chance Jan Vertonghen could feature having done so infrequently so far this term.

CB – Federico Fazio

The new signing from Sevilla is likely to get another game to try and bed into English football and Pochettino certainly has a plethora of central defensive talent at his disposal now.

LB – Ben Davies

The improved form of Danny Rose has seen this new signing struggling for game time, although like against Partizan Belgrade in the Europa League this could well be another chance for the Welshman.

RM – Aaron Lennon

With Nacer Chadli and Erik Lamela both impressing on the wing so far this term game time has been few and far between for Lennon, but this could be his chance to shine.

CM – Benjamin Stambouli

Another new signing now, with the Frenchman joining from Montpellier this summer and having plenty of competition for a place in central midfield.

CM – Nabil Bentaleb

Made name for himself under previous boss Tim Sherwood, but Pochettino has also decided to give the teenager a few chances and Bentaleb could well turn out to be a top-class Spurs star.

LM – Andros Townsend

Declared fit for the game after a leg injury, Townsend has some way to go to reach the heights that saw him become a regular in the England team – which was only 12 months ago.

ST – Roberto Soldado

The £26m signing struggled during his first year in English football and is behind Emmanuel Adebayor for a place in the starting XI usually, so against Forest the Spaniard has a chance to catch a few eyes.

ST – Harry Kane

This youngster has still not quite proven whether he will make it at the top or not, but at home against second tier opposition we expect the manager to give the 21-year-old another game.
